ইমপিচমেন্ট থেকে বেকসুর খালাস পেলেন আমেরিকার প্রাক্তন প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্প। বিশ্বের ইতিহাসে প্রথমবার ক্যাপিটল হিলের তান্ডবকে কেন্দ্র করে ধুন্দুমার কান্ড বেঁধেছিল ।যা আমেরিকার প্রাক্তন প্রেসিডেন্টের ভোটে পরাজয়কে কেন্দ্র করে।

হোয়াইট হাউস এখন বাইডেনের দখলে। পাশাপাশি সারা বিশ্বের কাছে নিন্দিত হয়েছিল ওয়াশিংটন ডিসির ক্যাপিটাল হিলের এই হামলা । শুধু তাই নয় আমেরিকার ইতিহাসে প্রথমবার কোন প্রেসিডেন্টকে তাঁরই শাসন কালে দুবার ইমপিচমেন্ট করা হয় । তিনি আর কেউ নন আমেরিকার প্রাক্তন রাষ্ট্রপতি ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্প।

তবে আজ ইমপিচমেন্ট থেকে মুক্তি পেয়ে নিজেকে ভিকটিম বলেই মনে করছেন তিনি। তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ, ক্যাপিটাল হিলের হামলায় তাঁর উসকানিমূলক বক্তব্যের মদত আছে। যদিও আজ তা মিথ্যে প্রমাণ হওয়ায় সরব হয়েছেন তিনি।
