আগামী ৩০ সেপ্টেম্বর বাবরি মসজিদ ধ্বংস মামলার রায় ঘোষণা সিবিআইয়ের বিশেষ আদালতে। বিচারপতি এসকে যাদব অযোধ্যায় বাবরি মসজিদ ধ্বংস মামলার রায় ঘোষণা করবেন। প্রায় ৩০ বছরের পুরনো বাবরি মসজিদ ধ্বংস মামলার রায়দানের দিন আদালতে লালকৃষ্ণ আদবানি, মুরলী মনোহর জোশি-সহ মামলায় অভিযুক্ত ৩২ জনকেই সশরীরে হাজির থাকতে নির্দেশ দিয়েছে সিবিআই আদালত। ১৯৯২ সালের ৬ ডিসেম্বর বাবরি মসজিদ ধ্বংস করা হয়। বাবরি ধ্বংসের পর ষড়যন্ত্র ও মসজিদ ধ্বংসে অন্যদের উস্কানি দেওয়ার অভিযোগে মামলা দায়ের হয়েছিল। বাবরি মামলায় অভিযুক্তদের তালিকায় বিজেপির একাধিক বর্ষীয়ান নেতার নাম রয়েছে। ইতিমধ্যেই বাবরি মসজিদ মামলায় অভিযুক্তদের জিজ্ঞাসাবাদের প্রক্রিয়া শেষ হয়েছে। গত বছরের জুলাইয়ে সুপ্রিম কোর্ট বাবরি মামলার রায় আগামী ৯ মাসের মধ্যে শেষ করতে নির্দেশ দিয়েছিল সিবিআই বিশেষ আদালতকে। সেই মতো তৎপরতা শুরু করে সিবিআই আদালত। যদিও শীর্ষ আদালতের মামলার রায় দান শেষ করার নির্ধারিত সময় শেষ হয়ে গিয়েছে গত এপ্রিলেই। দেশজুড়ে করোনা পরিস্থিতির জেরে মামলার প্রক্রিয়া শেষ করতে সময় লেগেছে বলে সর্বোচ্চ আদালতে জানান সিবিআই কোর্টের বিচারপতি।
